[https://doi.org/10.1039/B905248H] | Abstract: | The host molecule 1,1,2,2-tetraphenylethane-1,2-diol forms inclusion compounds with THF, DMA and DMF with a constant host[thin space (1/6-em)]:[thin space (1/6-em)]guest ratio of 1[thin space (1/6-em)]:[thin space (1/6-em)]2. The structures of these three inclusion compounds were solved as well as the structure of a mixed guest compound. We studied the selectivity of the host towards all three guests and determined the activation energy of guest desorption for the DMA and DMF compounds. | URI: | http://dx.doi.org/10.1039/B905248H http://hdl.handle.net/11189/2707 |
