Biography
Krystle Ontong is an academic development senior lecturer (ADSL) in the department of Construction Economics and Management, Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment at the University of Cape Town. Her research interests are primarily located in the fields of curriculum studies and academic development with specific reference to place-, space- and land education, productive pedagogies, curriculum inquiry and research methodology. She has published in a number of peer-reviewed journals both locally and internationally and is a member of various Education Associations. To date, she has presented at more than twelve conferences locally and internationally and reviewed a number of articles and theses. She also received a NRF rating in 2020.
