Abstract

The African Rhino Specialist Group (AfRSG) envisages thriving wild African rhinoceroses (rhinos) valued by and contributing to the wellbeing of people. Africa’s large animals, including rhinos, are important biodiversity for future global restoration and rewilding options. They generate ecosystem services and contribute to the sustainable development goals and thus a flourishing future planet. Here we report on guiding and facilitating the conservation of viable African rhino populations across their natural range that add to the well-being of Africans.
