Abstract: The design of a single layer wideband circularly polarized 2 × 2 microstrip array at X-band frequencies is described. The antenna elements are shorted annular patches and the array is driven with a sequential-phase feeding network. The array is modelled on a 1U CubeSat. The performance of the array is compared to a single element microstrip antenna.
