Prof. Chux Gervase Iwu currently heads the department of entrepreneurship and business management at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT). He has degrees in library studies, industrial and organizational psychology, management and human resource management. Chux also has a professional certificate in E-Commerce. His research interests include, but not necessarily limited to, employee empowerment, business management and information systems. Chux enjoys reading and also finds profound pleasure in writing both the serious and the not-so-serious stuff. Among the serious stuff are some of the papers you will find in this page. The not-so-serious stuff are tucked away in several newspapers and magazines around the world – electronic and hard copy. Before joining CPUT, Chux worked for a number of multinational corporations in a range of positions namely editor, human resource/project manager, and specialist training/facilitation consultant. More recently, Chux took part in facilitating some of the discussions that enabled the successful hosting of the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup in South Africa.
