Biography
I am a design theory and research lecturer, focusing on design evolution and theories that influence modern design practice. I am a tenured member of staff at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, with a Masters in Design and a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education and Training. My interest in the user experience and service design fields, has resulted in the number of international research projects and a doctorate within the field of digital service design for an ageing population. As an avid advocate of service design, I consult and develop practical framework for the development of services and the use of service design methods in research and the design process. I have collaborated on two design textbooks and have presented at numerous design and education conference.
