| dc.description.abstract | The hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test for a transformer differential protection system is presented in this paper, to prove the validity of the settings configuration of the relay. A step-by-step configuration is done up to the testing part, which proves and validates the concept of differential calculations. The steps and configuration procedures presented in this paper will help other scholars understand the configuration and the operating principle of the transformer differential protection system and its elements. The focus of this study is not limited to the protected transformer, it also considers the system in which the transformer is employed. The obtained simulation results demonstrate that the configuration of the protection system is successful. This was observed through the human-machine interface (HMI) of the relay. | en_US |
