They will develop the ability to evaluate the appropriateness of various sources and content in alignment with their specific information needs, distinguishing between popular and scholarly sources. Furthermore, learners will gain proficiency in in-text referencing and bibliography creation, ensuring the accurate citation of sources in their academic work. The module also covers the process of understanding a research topic thoroughly, developing effective search techniques, and constructing precise search strings for efficient information retrieval. By engaging with this OER, learners will enhance their research capabilities, enabling them to undertake comprehensive and well-referenced academic projects.
