Using RESs can substantially reduce harmful emissions from polluting the environment while also offering inexhaustible resources of primary energy. Photovoltaic (PV) system has become the most common source type for residential applications or grid-connected REs. This study aims to present a power synchronization of two different power sources, namely PV system and the utility grid. A developed maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm is proposed to drive the switching element of the DC-DC boost converter to accomplish fast maximum power point and maintain the voltage constant irrespective of solar radiation variation—the proper speed control to extract maximum power [1]. The proposed system provides an efficient way for power synchronization to take place. The study focuses on performance evaluation and control technique of the integration of PV system into the utility grid means of interchangeable frequencies and voltages of the PV system with the grid, to synchronize an alternating current output of the systems injection into the grid by using the phaselocked loop synchronization technique (PLL) as the proposed method described and simulated by the MATLAB/Simulink. | URI: | https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9837688 http://hdl.handle.net/11189/9514 |
