dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to identify factors impacting performance of rural-based construction projects in Mpumalanga. Most economies are heavily influenced by the construction industry. Several elements have been identified as contributing to the failure of construction projects in the South African province of Mpumalanga. Data was gathered using a questionnaire that was given to people who work on construction projects using Google Forms. According to the findings, the following are the most common causes of construction project failure: inexperienced project managers, scope creep and change orders, improper planning and scheduling, poor risk management in all project steps, and inadequate documentation and trackingen_US
