Abstract: The big search engines, offer tools, to improve a website’s ranking. These so called Webmaster Tools, deliver meaningful results about the status of a website. In this research, the Webmaster Tools from Google, Bing and Yahoo! were compared, to see which one delivers the most. Focusing on the main features, for optimizing a website, like dashboard, configuration, reports, crawling, links and optimization tips, the result was not very surprising. There were differences between the tools, but in the end both tools have similar quality of the features. By the fact that Google is the bigger and better known search engine, they have an advantage.
