V/AIDS impacts demographics, since it has already killed more than 20 million people. HIV/AIDS is predicted to cause about 100 million additional deaths from a total of 500 million deaths in sub-Saharan Africa. This paper examines the impact of HIV/AIDS related deaths on the productivity of selected, affected regions. Data used in this study, was sourced from textbooks, journal articles and the internet. The T-test analytical technique was utilised to analyse collated data, whilst the finding show that there is a positive relationship between the HIV/AIDS pandemic and a decrease in global productivity owing to seriously affected regions.en_US
