dc.description.abstractA low profile all-metal mechanically robust circularmicrostrip patch antenna at S-band frequencies is presented. The singlecoaxial feed circularly polarized antenna was optimized for a 3-unitCubeSat structure. Good correlation between simulated and measuredresults was obtained. The measured antenna has a maximum gain of 8.9dBi, and the 10 dB reflection coefficient bandwidth is 5.4%.en_US
