The blood flowing through the artery is considered to be Newtonian and its viscosity radial co-ordinate dependent due to hematocrit variation. Analytical expressions are obtained for the flow velocity, temperature, the volumetric flow rate, wall shear stress and wall heat transfer rate. Discussions are made from a physiological point of view. The effects of various embedded parameters are discussed with the help of graphs.
