Degree in Dental Technology at Peninsula Technikon. The case study involves a patient that was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo surgery procedures in order to remove the tumour. The cancer tumour was located intra orally and grew to a considerable size that demanded immediate attention. After the patient underwent surgery the deformity or cavity known as a fistula had to be remodeled to simulate and restore the natural function and aesthetics of the patient.
