Abstract: It would be ideal to reconstruct a traumatized maxilla, but with the cost involved in reconstructing a maxilla is near to impossible to the people on the streets that are really in need, not even to speak of the cost involved in all the surgery procedures that need to occur. The hollow bulb obturator is easily fabricated and can also, to a certain extent, be aesthetically pleasing to the patient. It is also a process that involves minimal costs.
