Many students at the university make use of Student Learning but the reach of the Unit does not extend to all CPUT campuses. Access to information on the services is available on the CPUT website but there are other “back of house” processes that are not well documented or easily accessible. Some of these processes include administrative requirements such as: booking consultations, student appointments, claim forms etc. Just-in-time material needs to be developed that is easily accessible and assists both staff and student to have urgent questions answered. Description: Powtoons is an animated software programme that enables short informative presentations to be developed as a resource guide. The presentation appeals to various learning styles and staff and students who have access to information, which is web based. A set of frequently asked videos will be developed on various topics. A short (2.5 minutes) note-taking video was produced using this software and has been viewed 1500 times. Presentations would be developed on academic or nonacademic material.
