Abstract: This paper focuses on voltage unbalanced associated with power systems, their causes and negative impacts, a review is done on existing work. A brief description of the techniques to reduce the voltage unbalance effect in LV distribution grids with the use of distributed generation (DG) and three phase PV systems is given. Voltage unbalance effect is modified by these methods, applicable in different fields with variable single phase and three phase inverters inclusion in an actual LV grid. Also, overvoltage effect is reduced.
