Abstract: Industrial fluids are prevalent in most processing plants and are typically multiphase fluid systems. These fluids are transported in pipes between processes. Understanding their behaviour and flow dynamics is fundamental in optimizing such processes but also for improved quality control. In addition, it could provide insight into the microstructure, which would facilitate the development of new innovative materials, according to Roberts 1-2) .
